Official Launch at Reporters Nepal

Naya Ujjyalo was officially launched on 14th January, 2022 at Reporters’ Club Nepal in Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu. The Chairman of the Foundation, Atreya Koirala welcomed Chief Guest Manisha Koirala: Actor, Author, Social Worker along with Special Guests, Mahesh Kharel: Mayor of Panchkhal Municipality, President- Nepali Congress, Kavre- Constituent 2 and Uddhav Kharel: Mayor of Budanilkantha.

Atreya Koirala in his speech thanked all the media personalities and guests present. This was an introductory program to inaugurate Naya Ujjyalo.

He went on to further state that The Constitution o Nepal ( 20 September, 2015) states in Part 1- Preliminary : 35: Right relating to health: (1) Every citizen shall have the right to free basic health services from the State, and no one shall be deprived of emergency health services.

Despite this many rural areas suffered during Covid crises as they did not have access to health. Naya Ujjyalo was founded as an NGO to help Nepalese get access to basic health supplies especially to mitigate covid. We will continue to distribute medical packages to the communities most in need and pursue to create awareness regarding health and hygiene.
