On October 10, 2023, Atreya Koirala, the founder of Naya Ujjyalo, formalized a pivotal collaboration with the non-governmental organization, Food For Life, Nepal. Guided by its motto—“No child in Nepal shall be deprived of education because of hunger”—Food For Life, Nepal has been making changes in nourishing underprivileged children while fostering educational opportunities.

This philanthropic alliance entails a committed financial contribution from Naya Ujjyalo, amounting to NPR 10,000 per month. These funds will be directed towards Food For Life’s program that provides hot meals to approximately 6,500 children daily in community schools across Nepal. The initiative aims to ensure that children are in school and not at work.

This partnership runs parallel with Naya Ujjyalo’s vision of “Health For All,” reinforcing the organization’s commitment to societal well-being and sustainable development. By uniting forces, both Naya Ujjyalo and Food For Life, Nepal are strengthening their resolve to eradicate child hunger, thereby enabling more children to access the education they rightfully deserve.
